...that God is God.
He calms the storm. We simply have to call out to Him for our rescue. "Why were you so afraid?" He asked.
It's like we think we have to still our own boat and ride the waves without His help. And then when all else fails, we finally cry out to Him. What if we learned to turn every thought into prayer so that our first response is to ask Him to calm our storm? Might that keep some of our problems from even becoming storms in the first place?
Well, this is what I've been thinking about since my quiet time with Him this morning. Matthew 8. Good stuff.
