Speaking of animal sounds: A couple weeks ago, I taught Keith that a sheep says, "baa." But then he later pointed to a flamingo on my shirt and said, "baa." So now we know that flamingos also say, "baa." This is something we've all wondered, did we not? What DO flamingos say???
We had company last night...
...and I made this soup. Man, it is tasty! But I blended the Rotel to make it look more appealing to kids. Just a little tip I wanted to share in case the tomatoes are scary.

One of the most fun parts of bringing little ones into our home again has been that we get to enjoy such sweet reading time. Brayden and I have been enjoying books from the Richard Scarry Collection. They are so
fun and educational!
Aunt Rosalee was here for adoption day last week and Brayden loved listening to her read with him. What a special time!

Thank you to everyone who voted for Malachi's fun video in this contest! You can vote again (every two hours, ha!) or vote for the first time if you haven't already. Just click the red heart under his video.
Seeing my kids develop their talents (after I force them to finish their algebra lessons, etc) has been such a huge perk of homeschooling. I'm thankful!!
