Incredible Raspberry Bars

I haven't done any baking for a few days, and I needed something to go with my coffee. NEEDED. Not that I can't just have coffee with my coffee. But I thought Raspberry Bars would be perfect, and I was correct.

Another one bites the dust.

Malachi woke up with the crud our family has been passing around. Matt is on the mend, Boy Babe#1 is snotty and fussy, the poor thing.

So we're laying low today. During the babies' naptime this morning, I made tonight's dinner and did a little extra cooking for our freezers. What did I make?

I'm hoping to run to the store sometime later to grab some greens (we simply cannot run out!! not that the boys would care...) and other fruits and veggies that are on sale.

Apparently today I'm trying to get ahead in the kitchen. It's been a while. Often lately I'm just getting by meal-to-meal. So it feels good to get ahead!

We sure are having fun!

Parenting.

I find I have to pray for wisdom constantly - with my teens and with our new littles. Why do I ever try to figure out in my own head how to talk to them or how to discipline them?

My own head is so very limited.

Every time I try to figure anything out by myself, God reminds me to ask Him how to handle it. And then I do. And then He shows me.

Every time.

Just in case you needed to be reminded like I so often need to be reminded: Stop trying to figure anything out on your own. Ask God. He will provide all the answers.
