Many gift their neighbors this time of year. But because we're in a bit of a...full season at our house, our cat took it upon herself to do the gifting. She walked across the street, crawled into our neighbor's house through the doggie door, climbed up onto the table, and pooped. ON THE TABLE.

We were mortified, but thankfully our neighbor was more than gracious about the entire situation.

Today we made up for it, also not on purpose.

Our freezer gave out. I think it's lived its life. Thankfully, nothing was completely ruined, but all the meat was completely thawed. Cold and usable, but thawed. 

So I messaged several of our neighbors to let them know what happened and to see if they'd like a delivery of steaks. They all said yes! (Of course.)  

So this afternoon, we handed out bags of beef, and while it truly is a bummer that our freezer gave out, I can't tell you how much fun it was to give a bunch steaks to our neighbors!!

One of our neighbors has a large family and little money, so we added some canned and boxed food to their stash and took a fun wagon ride to make the delivery.
