As I prepared food to feed a crowd for Thanksgiving this week and especially this morning, I was so struck by how thankful I am for so many people I get to serve and for everything in my kitchen that made my meal prep so much easier.
You probably already know my favorite and most used:
- Crock Pot (Used two of them for our Tgiving meal.)
- Instant Pot (Made broth last night with our turkey bones.)
- Blendtec (Whipped cream for pies in 20 seconds.)
Those are a few examples just from today.
The time and energy these save me free me to take care of people - our 7 children, extra college kids, those in poverty in our community, my husband, and yes, even myself.
It is not selfish to want or ask for items that will be a blessing to you. If they bless you and you use them to bless others - it is a win-win in so many ways.
If you click on the links above, you'll find great sale prices on all of those items (it's like EVERYTHING is on sale right now - take advantage!!).
Call the
Crock Pot,
Instant Pot, and
Blendtec a splurge if you want, but I call them an investment. For me, they have become an investment in loving people. And they keep me from over-doing so that I can rest as needed during this
very full season in our lives.
I pray you had a day fully focused on God and His blessings. As we head full blast into the Christmas season, let's keep our eyes on Him and learn to listen to His direction. He is faithful and good!
