Why am I making so many muffins??

So many reasons.

I am in muffin-baking mode right now because:

It's cold outside and baking is the only way to make it better.
We invited YC soccer ladies for brunch tomorrow before their afternoon game. Egg casseroles, muffins, and fruit will help them win - I'm just sure of it!
I told Justus to invite his college friends over for lunch on Sunday. I'm making several different pots of soup, and muffins are a great treat to serve on the side.

What? Make muffins?

No. I mean I do love to bake. But the favorite thing I was referring to is telling Justus to invite college friends for lunch, telling those friends to invite their friends too, then watching to see who shows up...

IT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!

College kids are so sweet to love on our babies with us. Feeding them is such a joy. Food, food, food - I love food. And college kids.

All aboard! I just had to show you the fun we had yesterday with our handsome little train conductor and his passengers riding in the caboose. :) :) :)

Didn't Brayden's costume turn out fantastic? This is because I asked someone else to make it with/for him. Saying yes to offers of help and reaching out and asking for help is a blessing all around! (<--- If you have a hard time saying yes to help, you need to read this.)

Now that it's November...

I'm letting myself go into full holiday mode!! Christmas shopping, festive food planning, figuring out how to keep babies out of the tree...so much to look forward to!
