It's been a doozy of a week. We've temporarily taken in a 2-year old little girl (long story, but God is in it). I had already committed to feeding 60 people - twice - this week. So we're running on crazy fumes and seeing God at work in all the ways.
Please DO ask God to show you what it means to "love your neighbor." You won't believe the goodness you'll learn about Him when you do. And then
be sure to say yes when people offer to help you. We can't do this without our Christian brothers and sisters.
Anyway, about the lower-case 4...
We have foam alphabet/number magnets on our fridge that Brayden uses to practice spelling new words he's learning. Boy Babe uses them for teething, of course, so we try to keep the lower-case letters out of his reach as they aren't safe. Upper-case letters though? They're big enough. Chew away, Baby.
Earlier this week, one of my teens hollered, "Mom! (Baby) is chewing on a magnet - is that ok?" and I answered, "As long as it's not lower-case" then went to investigate. I pulled out a #4 from his mouth, which resulted in my teen teasing me about saving Boy Babe from a "lower-case 4."
It hit me super funny at the time, but now that I'm writing it, I feel it only deserves a courtesy chuckle.
Thank you for humoring me. I'm tired. Lower-case 4...
