I've been doing the parenting thing for almost 22 years, and we've homeschooled for 16 (thousand) years. So I know that while Bonus Boy is super eager to do "school work" this summer, there will come a day he isn't as excited.
No matter. If he's excited today, I'm going to go with it.
We've been printing off
the curriculum we just bought, and we've put together a Summer Fun Folder filled with fun learning activities. My biggest reason?
He learned a LOT in pre-school this year. I don't want him to back-track on any of those basic skills he's been getting so good at! So we'll pull out our newly created school folder throughout the summer to keep it all fresh. But we won't push hard, because it IS summer break, after all! ;)
