Our foster Boy Babe has decided to stop sleeping through the night. Once again Matt and I are tag-teaming the wee morning hours in the name of survival. Today, through half open eyes, I'm praising God for a helpful husband.
Meanwhile, our two college sons are rocking the stage at our York College Songfest show this weekend. If I'm not teary-eyed because of lack of sleep, I'm weepy over God filling my sons with talent and shining so brightly through them.
And because they can't be overlooked, I must give a shout-out to my two teens still living at home. I could NOT survive this season in life without their amazing, selfless help. They are the ones putting our 5-year old Bonus Boy to bed when I'm rocking a fussy baby, or the ones I hand the baby to when I have to discipline the 5-year old, or the ones I share a secret grin with when one of the Littles does something incredibly cute.
Ultimately right now, I'm extremely tired and extremely joyful. GOD IS AT WORK and even through tough moments, it is so important that we see how He shines in our days.
