With little ones and big ones and all kinds of crazy schedules, we're eating as simply as possible these days. Here are some links to share some of the easy meals I've been putting on the table. And rest assured, we're slicing fruit, steaming veggies, and grabbing mixed greens from the fridge to go with each meal so that we're still eating plenty of fruits and veggies!
This morning, in between classes and lessons, my 14 and 17 year old sons made our house smell SO good! I rocked the baby while they started a fresh pot of coffee, fried up some sausage, and scrambled some eggs. I felt like I was living a luxurious life while my sons held down the fort in a very delicious way!
Little did I know when I taught them to cook so many years ago that those skills would be so valuable later when we began our foster care/adoption journey.
I wrote my thoughts about this
here, and shared that we're now teaching our 5-year old Bonus Boy to cook too!
