What are we doing over spring break? SLEDDING. Shoveling. Scraping. More shoveling.

I'm no fan of winter, but at this point I'm actually cracking up. What a funny, long stretch of cooooold weather we've been having. It's such that when the temp hits a high of 20 degrees, it feels super warm and inviting.

It's not fun for me, but I'm not terribly bothered by it because, meh... I know spring and summer will eventually come! Also, last I checked, complaining never made the sun come out.

It's especially precious to me right now because our oldest is graduating from college next month. Meanwhile we're adopting a 5 year old and fostering a 3 month old and well...

I am feeling all the feelings. The Prayer Mugs study and journal have been a game changer for me as I parent, pray, and trust God with all the precious children He has entrusted to our care. It's worth noting that every single one of my sons, from age 5-21, joyfully appreciate seeing me sip coffee from their specific prayer mug. I love that this is such a simple reminder of my care for them.

Also, who knew I'd need a bonus mug in honor of Bonus Boy? I am in awe. Mama has 5 mugs now. Will I need more in the future? Oh my coffee mug. We watch in wonder as we experience God's goodness and works.

I'm not crying. You're crying.

I sure do tear up frequently these days. Some of it is due to sleep deprivation. But most of it is because joy spills onto my face regularly as God shows me who He is in brand new ways. What a truly incredible God we have.

Seek Him constantly. Dig into His Word. Learn to listen to His voice. He will show you marvelous things!
