It's my word for the year. When 2019 started with a painful blow, God reminded me to get up out of my fetal position and to STAND.
Ephesians 6:
- Take your stand.
- Stand your ground.
- Stand firm.
- After you've done everything, STAND.
The only way we can do this is through the power of Jesus. We are armed, guarded, protected, and provided for. In Him, we STAND. The enemy flees. Praise God!!
So we're standing. Beloved friends are standing with us. God is near. We are His.
Waiting and Trusting
We're not sure what's coming next in our world of foster care. We're learning that the only thing to know for sure is that this life is full of unknowns. God is teaching me to settle in to the land of unknowns. This is the only way to learn to fully trust the Lord who makes perfect plans for each of our lives.
