Nah. We had turkey at Thanksgiving. And we'll have a ham dinner with the grandparents and other extended family a few days before the 25th. I'm all for making family traditions what YOU want them to be. For us, it's Christmas day Lasagna for the win!

 

BUT, if you are a Turkey Dinner family at Christmas, might I suggest all these fabulous tips for prepping your meal before the big day, so that you can truly enjoy the big day?

I should be an expert on this subject seeing as I live with so many men who are also athletes. So it was fun to see that today Amazon has huge deals on outdoor gear, sport equipment, gloves, knives....great stuff!

It was a huge joy yesterday to carry on our favorite one-on-one Christmas shopping tradition with our newest 4-year old. We talked the entire time about how fun it is to pick out and give gifts to others. He helped shop, wrap, and pick gift tags - smiling the entire time and jumping up and down saying, "I'm so excited, I'm so excited!!" Me too, buddy. Now shhh, don't tell what's in the packages. 

When DaddyCopp got home, BB exclaimed, "We went Kissmas shopping!!" Then in a whisper, "We wrapped your new pants." Hahaha, yes. That's exactly what I meant when I said, "shhhh." :)

 

Ah the delight of having a 4-year old in the house this time of year. It's equally exciting to have our teens join the shopping/gift giving fun. Beyond that, our college boys just finished their finals and will be home soon. Annnnnddd, I might be geeking out just a bit that we'll have a special girl person joining us this Christmas. You can bet I'll enjoy delightful girl-time with her, but I think she's actually mostly coming to spend time with Asa. ;)
