I Took Toilet Paper to Justus' College Play...

Life is Fun... Our freshman in college, Justus, had his debut on stage last night, performing in a One-Act Play on the York College campus. It's such a delight to watch our kids grow up and explore new adventures. We had just sent our two still-living-at-home teenagers off for the weekend to a church youth rally. Then we bundled up our 4-year old bonus boy and headed to see Justus' play. Phew, so many great seasons in life - happening all at once! As we headed out the door to drive to campus, Asa, our college senior, texted to say, "Any chance you have toilet paper and dish
soap on hand and can take it to the show with you tonight?" I am always happy to be my kids' Walmart. It is an incredible blessing to have our sons at college across town so we can be a fly on the wall as we watch them become incredible adults. So we did a toilet paper/dish soap hand off during intermission so Asa could have what he needed in his apartment. Just another day in the life of the Coppingers.
Nothing to see here. Isn't this what everyone does during intermission? #quiltednorthernbaby
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year? We often host a houseful who aren't able to pitch in and bring dishes to share. So I do everything I can ahead of time so I can enjoy my guests and feed them well too. And speaking of hosting people for meals, I think I am going to ask for one of these for Christmas. So pretty and
practical! Have a great weekend, and the next time you go to a play, don't forget to take toilet paper. Laura @ HeavenlyHomemakers.com |
