I'm not a huge fan of microwaves because of the potential ill effects on our health. So we got rid of ours and sort of forgot how to use one. I've learned other great ways to warm our food, many of which are FASTER than a microwave, hooray and amen. I thaw meat like this (when I actually remember to thaw it).

A toaster oven sits on our counter where a microwave might sit. I got us a cheapo one, but the one pictured above is on sale today and it is super tempting to add to my Christmas list!

Tonight, I don't even have to cook as my family and I head to a banquet dinner to celebrate God's work in our local Mission. We have met so many beautiful people at the mission and studying the Bible with the women there has become my favorite thing to do each week. We are looking forward to the fellowship we get to enjoy with them tonight!
