Hello, my dear ones. Did you get a day off this Labor Day? I'm finding it interesting to learn what "rest" is. On Saturday, I worked in the garden for an hour, snapped and blanched/froze green beans, and made a big batch of tomato sauce. Then I texted Matt to say, "I am SO enjoying my day off!" 

Ha. I was completely serious when I said that to Matt. Rest is relative, is it not? I got to spend a blissfully quiet day at home doing some of the things I love. I kicked back later with a cup of coffee while our foster son napped. Both the work and the sitting felt like rest to me because of the quiet.
