I'm home again after an awesome visit with my sisters in California, then a wonderful family reunion in Oklahoma! I feel refreshed and ready to tackle projects at home.

As I sit here, I'm listening to Elias and his girlfriend cook brunch together in the kitchen (oh the cuteness!). My other boys plus my nephew are watching a World Cup game. Summer truly is marvelous to me in every way.

Happy, happy, happy days of summer! We're loving on our community, inviting college students still in town to join us for meals, and basically finding that when we ask God to open our eyes and hearts to the needs around us, He faithfully shows us and fills us with love and care for His people.

Never forget to ask God how you can love and serve others. Say yes when God says yes (and no when God says no). Let your kids serve alongside you so they learn to love selflessly.
