This weekend we're saying goodbye to our foster son. It's emotional for all of us (did you know teenagers can become very attached to four-year olds?) We praise God that his mama is willing for us to continue taking him to church with us each Sunday after he moves back home. Isn't that a gift!
We have no idea what the future holds for our
family and foster care. But we know that God knows, and so we rest in this Truth. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement through these amazing weeks!
As for today, we're clearing out some clutter and getting caught up on projects that get neglected during the school year. I love this about summertime!
Here are the latest posts at Heavenly Homemakers you'll want to check out:
It just so happens that we picked up 17 pounds of strawberries this weekend, so we're using these recipes quite happily this week!
In other news, our oldest son's girlfriend is here visiting for a few days before she heads overseas for the summer. So my house smells prettier and carries an additional element of sweetness. What a delight!
Praying your week is focused on seeking God's best and that your heart is surrendered and open to what
He has to teach you.
