As for this weekend, we're
hosting a youth event which we pray is beautifully spiritual and gloriously fun. But before these youth show up, I'm feeding 54 soccer players (because the game I signed up for go snowed out and rescheduled for tonight - oy!). So not much going on around here. We are so bored. Might as well become foster parents. Oh wait...
Truly, life is good - because God is good. I'm
learning to stop planning my day but to instead be sort of organized, and then let GOD show me His plan for my day. It's a much better way to walk with Him.
What does God have for you today? Take time to be still and listen. It will be beautiful!
Praying and cutting
veggies,
P.S. Our days with our four-year old foster son have been going very well. This assignment has been a gift from God in every way. As an aside - it's too difficult for him to say my
name because Laura has too many "L's" and "R's" so he kept calling me "Hey!"
This week we decided to teach him the name many of the college soccer players call me: "Mama Copp" (because my husband is Coach Copp) (because our last name is Coppinger). He picked up on it immediately and oh my goodness when I hear that little voice calling, "Mama Copp!!!" I almost die from the
sweetness. It's a good thing he doesn't mind all my squeezes.
