Maybe
your kids will sit quietly and listen while you talk to them or read to them, but mine? When my boys were little I had to be sure they had something to keep their hands busy or they wouldn't hear one word I said.
Great literature aside, the only reason my kids learned a lick of history or science is because of Lincoln Logs, LEGO, and Magnetics. As an added bonus, my kids learned a lot of
creativity while building and listening. It was a win-win!
Fun Finds of the Day:
Who else has to keep their hands busy in order to listen well? (I see ladies at church knitting baby blankets, which helps them focus and
provides all the new mommies with handmade gifts too!)
Have a blessed evening!
