Too Early to Talk About Christmas?

I woke up today and had to put on a sweater, so it only makes sense that I would decide that Christmas is right around the corner. {rolls eyes at self}

Actually, I'm going to hang on to summer for as long as I can. We will grill chicken and roast hotdogs until it starts to snow, because I am always in denial this time of year that my beloved summer must come to an end. (Ooh! We got this great fire pit at a super discount since it is the end of the season, and it has been SO MUCH FUN to enjoy with guests!) 

So while I think it is a little too soon to start singing Christmas carols and getting out decorations at my house, I don't think it's too soon to start thinking about ways to save money during the holidays. In fact, now is the time to start grabbing gifts and socking them away, and to start thinking about holiday baking and getting prepared. Now, before it's holiday crunch time!!!!

So first thing, this wonderful LEGO Advent Calendar is a great price right now. It's more expensive than a cheap one filled with candy, but seeing as LEGOS don't rot our teeth and guts, I think it's a good trade off!
