This is not my first rodeo.
After 20 years of being a mom and starting in on our 16th year of homeschooling, I knew this was coming. Summer is laid back and refreshing in comparison to a school year, then mid-August hits and I'm always like, "WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?!"
We're off to a good start, but between all my boys running in different directions, my husband trying to keep up with his regular work and his job as assistant coach for our York College women's soccer team, and me trying to keep up with all my regular work along with feeding everyone (and I do mean everyone - we have had dozens and dozens of extras in and out of our house the past three
weeks!!)...
I'm already tired.
But I'm still smiling. :) Feeding all the people is one of my biggest joys, as is keeping up with all the great activities and ministries my family is involved in, but the next 9-months of the '17-'18 school year will find me saying "no" to almost every
outside request as I strive to take care of myself and my people as the Spirit leads.
Just in case you have also found yourself in a full blown "WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?!" school mode - I want to remind you that today is the final day I'm giving you a $10 discount code to use on your 1-year Simple Meals subscription. That makes each plan significantly
less than $1/week, saving you a huge amount of money and time daily! Plus you get a grocery list, bonus recipes, extra tips, and more. It's a huge score!
Simple Meals makes it possible to put wonderful, real food meals
on the table every day with very little effort. The thinking and planning has all been done for you with these detailed menu plans! Truly, I don't know what I'd do without it during a busy school year.
