What is this Prime Day Thing?

Hi! Long time no talk!

My family has been away from home at a family reunion (that we were in charge of hosting this year!) and then off to a week of church camp. The boys are still at camp. Matt and I are home now. Hello, beautiful quiet. I had forgotten what you sounded like.

Matt and I are taking this week to refresh and catch up on all the work we got behind on while we were gone. But more importantly we're taking time to enjoy each other, reconnect, and have actual conversations that have both a beginning and an end. (It's hard to finish conversations when the kids are home. Anyone else have this problem?)

I got home from camp and found a full email inbox, many of which were from Amazon telling me to "get ready for Prime Day!" Okay then. Should I bake a pie? Invite the neighbors? Decorate the house?
None of the above, though a pie is always welcome and we are hoping to spend time with friends and neighbors this week. But apparently Prime Day is a great big day on Amazon to save (or spend?!) lots of money!

After looking into it, I decided Prime Day was worth talking to you about. For one day only (tomorrow, July 11) Amazon is offering their Prime Members huge discounts on popular items. From what I can see so far, there will be price reductions on Cast Iron, French Presses, other kitchen gadgets, toys for the kids (start Christmas shopping early!), and a lot more.

These deals will only be offered to Prime Members - so if you aren't already a member, sign up here for a free 30-Day Trial

Our family has enjoyed and benefited from Amazon Prime for several years and have found it to be absolutely worth the yearly fee! We get free shipping always, and the items we order come in two days. It saves us an incredible amount of time and money so I definitely recommend Amazon Prime for families! (It keeps me from having to go to the store as often. This is a huge win in the time saving department!)

Hurry to sign up to be a Prime Member, then as soon as the great deals start to show up (as early as tonight), I will email again to fill you in on all the good stuff!! Be on your toes tomorrow. We can all save a lot of money on items we need!

Maybe we'll all get our Christmas shopping done in July so all we have to do in December is actually bake pie. :)

Looking forward to Priming with you,
