Dads, Instant Pots, and Road Trips

The month of June started off with a bang at my house. We've had a bit of house-guest drama, but God is good and His peace reigns. We've got a boy in Driver's Ed and a boy in Children's Theater and boys working and boys inviting friends over so that there are always more boys.

So in conclusion, "I am so bored," said no mom ever. Bring on the Simple Meals, which continues to save my neck day after day.

I have three quick items to share with you today!

1) With Father's Day coming up, my friend helped me put together this fabulous list of free and inexpensive gift ideas. You'll also find a list of recipes dad would probably like you and the kids to make for him!

2) I'm still not ready to take the Instant Pot plunge (change is hard, you know?). But if you're ready and you've been waiting for the price to be right - here's a great one for just $79! Its features compare to models that are over $100. I'll admit...it is tempting.

3) If you're traveling with kids this summer, you must come look at this list! It's got 65 ideas of ways to keep them entertained on a road trip. My friend Kim helped me put this together and it is genius!
