Money-saving warm up recipes for you

Happy Friday!

I thought I'd start your weekend off with some easy recipes that are:

  • inexpensive
  • convenient
  • a good way to warm up
You guessed it. I'm cold right now. The chilly weather has definitely hit Nebraska, so I've got soup and custard on my mind.
If you'd love some fun comfort foods to play with this weekend, here's what I suggest:

1. Simple Crock Pot Chicken Soup with a Kick - 4 ingredients; 5 minute prep
2. Chili - less than $1.00 per serving
3. Cheeseburger Soup - my current favorite soup
4. Calico Beans - hearty and filling
5. Chicken Noodle Soup - with homemade noodles!
6. Potato Soup - comfort food at its finest
7. Warm Vanilla Soother - great for breakfast
8. Warm Chocolate Soother - because the only thing better than vanilla is chocolate
9. Warm Pumpkin Soother - it's like drinking a cup of pie

I guess this email is my way of saying, "Be warm and well fed" this weekend. I'd love to hear from you! Have any fun plans this weekend?

Blessings,
