Though a chocolate egg is a lot of fun. :)
We've been extra intentional about bringing Jesus and the Bible into more of our daily lives lately. This has been great in every way - for our little ones, for our big ones, and for us as parents.
I'm thankful for the convicting nudge God gave us about this. Yes, our lives are incredibly full and busy with so many kids and needs! But we've recognized that too many things were slipping through the cracks in their spiritual lives. So we're making changes, and I'm thankful.
I plan to share more with you next week about some of the things we're doing to make Jesus more a part of everything we do all day. It has truly been so encouraging to me to grow in this area.
With Easter coming, we've been talking to the kids more about God's power in defeating the enemy when He rose again three days after death. The story never gets old!
And yes. Even with Jesus as the focus, I'm still doing all the other things to make the holiday extra fun. I'm planning a big Easter dinner. I'm filling Easter eggs for a big egg hunt with college kids. I bought new Easter outfits for our little ones. (First time for me to buy Easter dresses and bonnets!!!!
See what I bought here). And I filled super fun baskets for our kids to wake up to on Easter morning.
