It was incredibly dramatic, but that stubborn tooth finally came out! The new tooth had already come in so it was really important that we get the baby tooth out. Anyway, the tooth fairy came and gave a measly quarter. :) Through all our years of parenting, our tooth fairy rates have not increased. Sorry kids!
But one reason for this is that our 6-year old got out of bed, grabbed the coin with excitement and put it in his piggy bank right away. Money doesn't mean anything to him yet, so we could have given a penny and he would have been happy.
