These busy boys have SO MUCH FUN playing outside! They want to go out right after breakfast and they don't want to come in for any reason. Not even for food.
So yesterday when they got hungry, we grabbed little bowls of frozen peas and corn and they cooled off with their snack at their picnic table. I can't get over the cuteness!!!!!! And by the way, frozen veggies for the win as a perfect toddler snack on a hot day!!
We've invested in a couple of outdoor items and I'm so thankful we did. In case you're curious:
So now you know what we do all day. We chase, we play, we get filthy, we get wet, we "mow," and we eat frozen peas. Meanwhile, the Bigs are doing things like: mowing actual lawns for people with actual mowers, working double shifts at Applebees, taking Drivers Ed, working other part time jobs, and eating lots of food. Life is good, because God is good.
And at the end of the day, Mom crashes. :) :) :)
Not sure what to do with all the unrest going on around us? Look to Jesus and ask Him. He fills our days, for his glory, and He asks us to do what is most important: LOVE HIM; LOVE OTHERS.
He will show you what that looks like. :)
