We're back to just 7 boys in our family now. It's been a very long and hard two months. It's been so hard that I struggle to find words to describe it.

 

I'll share more another time. But for now, I'll just thank you with my whole heart for your prayers during this time for our family. We are exhausted. We love what we've learned and keep learning about God. He is incredibly good and faithful. And because of that, we have no regrets about our choice to obey Him in this.

Yep. Typically we'd be done with our homeschool year by now. However, having the extra boys since March really threw off our regular life. Malachi (our 9th grader) is a couple weeks behind - but on the home stretch! Justus finished his freshman/sophomore year of college at the end of April. Elias finished his senior year of high school/freshman year of college last week. And Brayden?

 

Ah yes. Our kindergartner. His official school work has been a little bit neglected the past couple of months (which worried me not one bit because he's 6 and is learning in other ways all day long).

 

But still. I'm eager to pick up some missing pieces with him now that life is settling back down. He loves sitting down with me to do fun school activities. So we're pulling out all of the special pages I can find for him!
