I've heard from several people that they began their quarantine SO EXCITED TO MAKE ALL THE FOOD! They had the time and they were taking full advantage of it to enjoy lots of kitchen time to make recipes they hadn't had time to make. Yay food.
But by now, they're all fooded out. They've reached the point of "we are having cereal. For dinner. Again. In paper bowls."
I admit to being a little bit back and forth on this myself. Cooking is therapeutic for me, so even on most of our stressful days, I feel calm while cooking. (Good thing too, since there are so many to cook for!)
But then I also find myself at a point of: Can everyone just fast tonight?
Yesterday, I found myself making three different recipes in my
Simple Real Food Recipes Cookbook. You have a copy of this right? You can use this book on your "I want to go all out!" days AND on your "why oh why must the people always
want food?!" days. The recipes are both amazing AND super simple - all at the same time. This is how I roll!
