Exactly six years ago, this chocolate-eyed little boy moved in with us. He was 4 years old, could hardly talk, and loved to sing.
Exactly five years ago, I wrote this post. I look back on that now and love the reminder of all God had been doing
to prepare me for this. For Brayden. For his siblings. For his cousins. For filling our house with seven additional precious children, all with special needs because of their trauma.
Six years ago, God had ultimately been teaching me how to love my neighbor. Six years later, we are in such thickness of loving the amazing children that
resulted in those initial attempts to reach out to the hurting that sometimes I forget this simple truth. This. This. This.

Feeding them though...
Getting all six little eaters (BabyBoy#11 is still not able to eat solids) to eat well when there's a lot of picky-ness is quite a challenge. This easy meal works for them ALL, plus all the adults like it
too! This one works well too, as long a the salsa is mild. And blended up so that there aren't chunks, ha.
