My kitchen was a complete disaster when I was finished with this project yesterday morning. We
were pushing it to get to school on time. I questioned my sanity as to why in the world I thought it was a good idea to tackle this.
And then I ate one.
OH SO GOOD. Yes, it was all worth it. (Though I
probably won't make them again any time soon.)
The next project I take on will be much easier - like these Giant Breakfast Cookies. They don't require flour on the counter and a
rolling pin like the Poptarts do. (Ultimately, the Poptarts aren't hard to make, just messier and more time consuming, especially if you have two three-year-olds, a four-year-old, and a two-year-old "helping.")
I can practically make these in my sleep. So maybe I'll mostly stick with this lovely list of Muffin Recipe Options. The mess is minimal, everyone
loves muffins, they go together quickly.
Yes, the Fall weather has me very excited to bake everything I avoided baking all summer. But I don't have to do it all at once. There's a long winter ahead, after all (blech).
