There's been huge excess of bread at our community food distribution where we've been volunteering. So they keep sending us home
with whatever we'll take. It's almost funny how much bread lands on our kitchen counter at the end of a Tuesday distribution. I sent a bunch of it with Justus yesterday to use for a church meeting where he was planning to provide dinner. And I'm planning meals based around which buns, rolls, and slices we have. It's kind of fun!
This morning's breakfast: French Toast. That is a perfect way to use a big loaf. We got croissants, so I made Chicken Salad to enjoy with those. We got biscuits, so I made Sausage Gravy to enjoy with those. We're eating well and having fun!

Our Bonus Boy is here for the weekend (our former foster son who is a half brother to several of our kids) and we are so thankful for time with him. He's 4 so he doesn't get why I need to hug him so hard and kiss him so much after not seeing him for several weeks. Phew, I ache for him when he's not here.
