I've shared many times during the past few years that
it is a beautiful thing to ask for help. And to say yes to offers of help. Once again, our family is seeing God at work in people as they serve us in various ways.
Â
Why do we need help right now? Because we have 7 kids under the age of 9 and three of them are still in diapers. All of them have trauma. We have needed help for the entirety of our foster/adopt journey, but now throw into the mix that
WE ARE MOVING. We are currently spending hours of each day purging, packing, and doing repairs on our house to get it ready to sell. We've hit a new level of "busy" and not only have we said yes to offers of help, we've prayed for God to show us who else to ask. We. Need. Help. He is providing. He is amazing.
Â
We've had help with kids, help taking boxes to our storage unit, help cleaning, help painting, help with our yard, help with porch repair, and the list goes on. A couple of days ago, I texted a friend, "Are you available to come help us on Thursday? And if so, will you please bring lunch and feed us?!" How pitiful am I, haha. I can't keep up with food right now. :) She was delighted to serve us this way, and we can't wait to eat
her famous casserole.Â
Â
God provides. We can say yes and reach out for help. It is beautiful.

Anyway, she came and worked for hours on one of our bedroom walls yesterday. Everyone needs friends like this. :) :) :)
