I want lots of (non)things for Mother's Day, like time with my family and tasty food. But I decided that while I was planning my menu for tomorrow, what I really wanted is to avoid any whiny children during meals.Β
This is a big ask, because there are a lot of kids and so many of them are picky. OH! And we have a very full day tomorrow afternoon moving all of Justus and Kelsey's things into the apartment they will be living in after they get married in July. (They head to Montana on Monday to work and to be with Kelsey's family for the summer.) So the food needs to be prepared today and eaten
quickly tomorrow before baby naps and big kid moving day.Β

Here's what I landed on, and I think we're all pretty excited!

Finger Food Lunch:
Smoked Chicken Dinner:
The big boys worked with the little kids this morning to get it all prepared. All-the-while, we brewed a bunch of pots of coffee to chill so that we'll have
lots of iced coffee to get us through the loading and moving! I made
coffee ice cubes too!
