Did I say made dinner? Meant to say "made a mess."
Well, what actually happened is that he saw that I needed potatoes prepped for dinner, and he begged to scrub them. I totally let him because why wouldn't I?
But half-way through the process, potatoes became less exciting and cups and what-nots became more exciting. Also the 2-year-old had joined the party. So the potato scrubbing stopped and the filling cups with water and then accidentally spilling half of the water on the floor began. And kept going.
Where was I? Feeding the baby in the next room. So by the time I realized what was happening....well let's just say that yesterday I mopped my kitchen. Yay me. I mopped. Keith helped. And next time he scrubs potatoes, I will monitor more closely.
But all that to say,
you should made baked potatoes like this because it's easy and makes for a great meal without effort. If you have a 3-year-old, you don't even have to do the prep work. And
you can also mop. Cool.
Have a great one!
